National Hazards Campaign backs Fast Food Rights

“The UK National Hazards Campaign support the Justice for Fast Food Workers campaign and we are also hungry for change! We want justice for fast food workers:  decent pay and conditions that must include good health and safety.

“Fast food workers are at risk of serious injuries from hot food, electricity, gas, knives, and equipment, and also of short and long term ill-health due to exposure to risks that can cause cancer, heart and respiratory diseases, depression, anxiety and other mental ill-health. These can be caused by long hours, heavy workloads, bullying, shift and night work, lone working, exposure to chemicals and insecurity caused by low pay and zero hours contracts. We support Fast food workers getting organised and fighting for safe work, now!”
